« Back Rai Saxa Rubra - River Chateau Hotel
 The Rai center situated in Saxa Rubra is located in the northern periphery and it spreads over 14 hectares . Opened on the occasion of the 1990 World Cup, today it houses all the journalistic radios and televisions: TG1, TG2, TG3, the regional newspaper, the sport newspaper, Rai International, Rai Radio News, Televideo, and the Direction Tribune.
Saxa Rubra s also the location of the TV Production Center, the Newspaper Support Structure and the Road Safety Coordination Center.
In the Center, composed by building of the same height services of public interest like bank, medical center and a canteen for 2.200 meals. Here 2.600 people work (1.100 assigned to the TV Production Center and about 1500 journalists, technicians and employees). There are TV studios and 35 radio studios.
The system for external audio, video, telephone and data signal, includes 330 optic fiber lines for a total of 1350 km of cables. The audio and video central circuit control includes more than 5000 circuits, while monitors used for TV production are 3000.
In Saxa Rubra Center there are 20 parables, 4 of them of big size, for the transmission by satellite. The transmission antenna is 42 meters high.
