Hotel
The ancient Via Flaminia, completed in 219 BC by the consul Gaius Flaminius Nepos and overlooked today by the River Château Hotel, connects Rome to Rimini. Along its route, you encounter wonders such as the bucolic landscapes of Magliano Romano, the antiquities of the Otricoli Archaeological Park, and the Abbey of San Cassiano in Narni. Detouring onto the Via Cassia, you reach Arezzo, perhaps to admire Piero della Francesca's frescoes, painted in the mid-1400s, which, coincidentally, tell the story of Emperor Constantine and his victory at Ponte Milvio.
Furthermore, there is a special connection between the River Château Hotel and the history of the silver screen. In the 1950s, our hotel was a cinema, the famous Cinema Aurora, and as such, with its neon lights and unmistakable wavy facade, it became the set for many films. Then came the transformation into a residence of ancient charm, elegant and discreet, the ideal setting for long days of relaxation in the spotlight. Just a walk holding hands is enough to feel like you are on the red carpet of the most famous Roman holidays.
